What I Know So Far About Being Healthy

I have always been the skinny girl all throughout my life it wasn't until I started gaining weight from the psych meds I was on when I paid attention to my health. In a group from day treatment, it was called holistic health I started to learn about how unhealthy my life was. I'm not going to say this was the pivotal turning point in my life where I began to exemplify this lifestyle immediately. However, it did spark curiosity within me to learn more so here it is, what I've learned so far.
(I'm going to break it up into different posts so this is the first one)
Physical

That's literally what runs through my head when someone talks about endorphins. Endorphins are important though and you can reach this by exercising for at least 30 min. Currently, I'm trying to do yoga every day and meditation because I think it will help with my racing thoughts.

I use to do other things a lot more like pilates and cycling class but I feel like I could achieve the same thing with riding my bike around my town when the weather is good or doing pilates at home which I'm planning on doing with tone it up workouts once I have all the equipment I need from their new line at target.

However, it's not enough to just workout it's also important to maintain a healthy diet, stay hydrated, and sleep enough

I'm learning more about how to eat healthily from cookbooks to YouTube videos. I'm learning what are protein bowls and smoothie bowls and how to make them. From meal prep to planning out a weekly schedule of what dinner will be. I've learned how to maintain proper sleep hygiene and that utmost importance of drinking water every day especially when I've had like 3 cups of coffee. To maintain a proper skin regime and making sure I'm keeping up with a proper teeth hygiene. The little things that we overlook and don't think are important are things that do make us healthy overall.
