Good morning everyone! I know it's been a while since my last post and I'm sorry there has been a lot of stuff that I was dealing with personally which led to me putting my blog on the backburner again. However, now that I've got a routine down I feel like there will be more posts coming to my blog consistently. Which leads me to introduce my newest feature I want to add to my blog called Sunday Mornings. The idea is that every Sunday morning I'll come out with a list of things that intrigued me or captured my attention for the past week so grab a cup of coffee, get comfortable, and enjoy reading.
- Game of Thrones: my boyfriend David is a fan and has got me hooked on the series I'm at the end of season one but I really want to try reading the books too just so I feel like I've experienced it completely
- The Resident: A new show with the actor from the Good Wife and Gilmore Girls is a third-year resident at a hospital in Georgia. It's interesting to me watching medical shows now that I've had some education and work experience related to the field.
- The Good Fight: A spin-off series from the Good Wife it's really intriguing and interesting to watch a show based on lawyers since for a long time I had wanted to be a lawyer. Alas, life happened and now I'm going a different route and I've grown a lot since then but I'll always have a soft spot for good shows that deal with politics and lawyers.
- Hawaiian Pizza: Surprisingly pizza with ham and pineapple is actually really good.
- Kalyn Nicholson: I've been catching up on some of her videos and I find her so motivational from the aesthetically appealing backgrounds of her video (hello, can I just say the color scheme in her bedroom are so cute) to the motivation and inspirational content of her videos
- CNA YouTube videos I feel like those have been helping me get an idea of what to expect when I become certified.
- Coffee: I usually hated the smell of coffee but now that I'm an adult and have to be at places and be fully alert I realized that coffee would help take care of that little dilemma. Therefore, it's only natural that I've now become addicted to it and have become best buds with my Keurig. Especially, now since I've created my own little coffee bar on my kitchen counter and makes me so happy when I look at it
- Magazines: a fun little fact about me when I was thirteen I had to create a portfolio of what I wanted to do as a career and I chose a magazine editor because I was inspired by the then Seventeen magazine editor Atoosa. I purchased the magazines I'm currently reading a while ago and have finally been able to read them. I like them and draw inspiration from them for writing blog posts.
Thats's what has grabbed my attention this week. What's sparked your interest this week? Let me know in the comments below!
