Scripture Writing

I have a lot of goals for this year and one of them includes doing more things that pertain to faith. Right now I've been trying out different churches. I was raised Catholic I went through all of the steps from baptism to confirmation. It wasn't until I was in college when I started questioning the existence of God. It wasn't until I went to Arkansas and attended a spanish United Pentecostal Church when I regained my faith in God. I came back to NY and I just started going to church with my parents when they went or the Fatima Shrine in Lewiston. I was desperate to go to church any church because that's when I really needed God in my life. I couldn't go to any United Pentecostal churches because there weren't any in the area. I eventually moved to a town where there was a United Pentecostal church and I went for a while but it just didn't feel like my views aligned with what the church's views were. I wanted to wear pants, makeup, and jewelry. I've been going to that church on and off for almost a year now and I finally came to the conclusion that I want to remain Roman Catholic. But I've learned a lot within this past year like scripture writing, trying to memorize two scriptures a month from the bible, prayer journals, creative bible journaling. I don't think that all of these things will secure my place in heaven but I believe it makes me a more well rounded Christian. I want to try to keep up with doing these things each month I want to start with Scripture Writing. For Scripture Writing I found this blog, Sweet Blessings, where there are these printables that include scripture writing plans for each month. These writing plans include a scripture for each day of the month. Here is an example what it looks like when I do scripture writing.

I wrote out the scripture and then I wrote my thoughts about it. I hope this gives you inspiration to try new things that pertain to your faith whatever it might be.
Until next time!
